Expert Installation, Service, and Repair

Our service area includes the city of Richmond and all locations within a 50-mile radius around the city. Our goal is to meet customer needs quickly, professionally, and at a reasonable cost. We expect our mechanics to show up on time for their appointment with you, and we usually can accommodate your schedule.

Our phone is answered in person 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After regular hours, our answering service will take your call. You can leave a message for the office, which we'll get first thing the next work day. If you need emergency service or just need to talk to a mechanic, our answering service will contact the mechanic on duty, and he'll get in touch with you as soon as possible.

We warranty our work for one year. When the job is finished, we follow up with a Customer Comment Card to make sure you are satisfied.

Our mechanics are the most knowledgeable and most experienced in central Virginia, and we're proud of them. They know how to assess, trouble-shoot, and address just about any overhead door situation. Our trucks are fully equipped and stocked to handle most repairs in a single visit to the job site.

It is Garbers' policy to send a mechanic and helper on most calls. This is done for the safety of employees and to expedite the work and minimize lost time for the mechanic.

When we replace an existing door or opener, we'll dispose of any old material that's not needed.
